Hi Gimel, my name is Andrew Yahaya. Thanks for bringing out this topic, I was so blessed by it real big. The moment i saw the topic “Religions and Truth, I laugh to myself, because that’s was exactly the same topic I discussed with my bro few days ago, and boom here it comes again. God’s will is that all people come to him (1 Timothy 2:4), but that does not mean all religions are valid. There are good people in all sorts of religions, but salvation is not a matter of being good people; it is a matter of being one with Jesus Christ, the Creator and Redeemer of all things. Most religions teach some form of works—if we do this, and that, and if we do it well enough, then we will eventually get to God. The gospel says that all such approaches don’t work. People can never work their way to God. Rules can’t save anyone, or get anyone closer to God. The gospel teaches a different path of salvation than other religions do. At the heart of the gospel is that our own works cannot save us—and that means that the gospel also says that religions can’t save us. People in other religions need grace, just like we need grace, and grace is found only in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Well the truth is that, Jesus is the only way to God. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse (Romans 1:20). There is no one righteous, not even one (Romans 3:10). Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we became conscious of sin (Romans 3:20). All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, the righteous will live by faith (Galatians 3:10-11). Since no one is good enough to get into heaven—if they were, then Christ’s sacrifice would have been meaningless, and the entire Christian religion is empty and void—then we must rely on our faith in the One True God, and allow ourselves to be saved by His grace. This grace is conditioned only on acceptance. And indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved” (Joel 2:32a; Acts 2:21; Romans 10:13). And God clearly states that He will judge our hearts. “For the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever” (1 Chronicles 28:9b). And He promises us that we are all valuable to Him and will not and cannot die without His permission. “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows” (Matthew 10:29-31). Hope you will be bless by this?
