In this episode, we are talking di tings with Aston Barrett Jr. Aston is a Grammy Award winning producer, Actor, the drummer and bandleader of The Wailers. Reggae is deeply routed in his bloodline, as he is the son of Aston “Familyman” Barrett, who was the bassist and bandleader of the iconic Bob Marley & The Wailers, nephew of drummer Carlton “Carly” Barrett (also a former member of grpup), and the grandson of Joe Higgs (who served as a mentor to Bob Marley).

During the episode Aston and I dicuss finding a balance between his musical style and his musical heritage, anchored in the legacies of his father and uncle. He also provides us insight on how he ended up co-producing "The Struggle Discontinues" from Damian Marley's Grammy Award winning Stony Hill album, the Wailers band, his belief that experience teacheth wisdom, making his debut as an actor, portraying his father in the highly anticipated film Bob Marley: One Love, and so much more!
