We know that we are supposed to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our understanding. This aspect of trust means to have a firm belief in the reliability of someone or something. Other words for ‘trust’ are: confidence, belief or faith. These words convey the passive side of trust.
Are you aware that there is another aspect of trust? There is a legal and active side to the word ‘trust’. In the estate planning world a ‘will’ is drawn up to express your desires for your property after you leave. That ‘will’ is put into a ‘trust’ in order to protect your desires in case you become disabled or incapable of managing your property.
