Jesus forgave them AS they were nailing him to the cross. Can you imagine THAT? Whew! Not after he felt better or after he resurrected but AS they were crucifying Him.

Some people are led to Christ BECAUSE we forgave them. I have witnessed someone asking how I managed to forgive them and they told me that they were praying I would.

I like to think about the prodigal son. What if his daddy did not forgive him? That was a WOW moment when I studied that passage.

Forgive is a must and only requires the decision of the ONE forgiving. Reconciliation takes two. Sometimes you can’t reconcile and that’s ok. I used to be the queen of cutting people off because they offended, but I learned not to cut them off but to pray and relate to them wisely. Not because I was still offended but their behavior was corruptible.
