Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Allahﷻ Says in the Holy Quran,

۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ

O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

(Quran 35:15)

Indeed, mankind is poor and always needy of Allahﷻ, yet many think they are self-sufficient and rebel against their Lord.

Those who seek to know and to be with their Benevolent Creator are blessed ones who are chosen to be in true happiness here and hereafter.

The Holy Quran was sent for the purpose of knowing Allahﷻ, to understand the religion God Almighty Chose for all of mankind and to eventually reach to be with Himﷻ, in eternal happiness and beauty.

The Superiority of the Quranic words over all words, is the Superiority of Allah over all creation.

(Hadeeth Qudsi)

In the Quran, Allahﷻ refers to Hisﷻ Holy Book with the words, ‘zalika’- meaning, that, a far away object, and also with the word, ‘haza’- meaning, this, something near.

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

That is the Book, there is no suspicion about it, a guidance to the pious. (Quran 2:2)

In the verse above, we find Allahﷻ referring to the Quran as ‘That Book’.

With more understanding of Quranic Arabic, one finds that this verse means a ‘far away Book He Wrote’, specifically indicating the Heavenly origins of the Holy Quran Written by Allahﷻ.

While in other verses, such as the one below, Allahﷻ uses the word ‘this’, referring to the Quran, meaning ‘this, (Quran) that is to be read’.

نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلْغَـٰفِلِينَ

By revealing this Qur’an to you, we hereby narrate to you the best narrative, while before this you were among those unaware (of it). (Quran 12:3)

For one who understands the eloquence of Quranic Arabic, this simple comparison of pronouns shows the immense beauty of Allah’sﷻ Word. Hisﷻ Words are the Most Eloquent & Lovely words, anyone will ever hear.

In another example of Quranic Beauty, we site a three letter root word like, ‘جنن’, ‘janoon’- an unseen covering, giving similar meaning to words like ‘jannah’ (garden/Paradise), ‘janin’ (embryo) or ‘jinn’ (unseen ones). All these words refer to something unseen, sharing similarities to its root word, ‘janoon’.

Holy Quranic Arabic is the language chosen by Allahﷻ to deliver Hisﷻ Guidance to mankind, hence we should not make it the least important in our list of priorities, to acquire knowledge of and to master.

Soothing to the Heart, Soul and Mind, even by looking at, and writing Quranic verses is therapeutic and healing.

The human mind was created to understand, in Arabic. Hence it's the language of teachings of the Quran.

The human tongue was created, to speak in Arabic. Hence it's the language of Jannah.

The human heart was created to be decorated, in Arabic. Hence it's the language of Zikrullah.

That is why Einstein says mankind uses only 5% of their minds. To know only about dunia.

But Mawlanaق said our Prophetﷺ used 100% of hisﷺ mind. To understand and ponder in Arabic, the Quranic verses, ya ulul albab- gifted individuals, who possess wisdom, intelligence and knowledge based on belief and devotion to Allahﷻ and this is not an ordinary term.

All dunia knowledge is the 5%, in reality much less, while the 95% of Mind’s useage is to Iqra-ul-Quran, wal tafakkur, read the Quran with understanding and to ponder over the verses. To know Himﷻ.

May Allahﷻ make us to be sincere mureeds seeking to prioritise learning and understanding Holy Quranic Arabic with the sole intention of becoming as our Holy Prophetﷺ was, a Walking Quran, knowing our Lord and to be with Himﷻ in eternal Happiness.
