Enjoy the first online gathering from the weekly series "An Invitation to Prayer", held at the Living Miracles Monastery in the spring of 2021.

Prayer is for joy, being that it is the medium for miracles, and the medium for communication with God.
Opening to a prayer-based life is the way we are being Guided by Jesus. Every conversation and every encounter can be a 'backdrop for prayer'. For it is through listening inwardly, and asking the Holy Spirit to guide our communications that we learn to be in communication with Him. This leads to communion; awakening to God's ever-present Love.

Gatherings involve a speaking / reading on prayer, opportunity for Q&A, silent prayer-time together, and they end on a note of gratitude.
