Rachel Jenkins AKA Eloquent Pearlfection is from East St Louis, IL. She began writing at a young age as a way to express herself and eventually started sharing those thoughts with the world. Her goal is to inspire others to find creative ways to express themselves as well. She has featured and headlined at several open mics, performed at nonprofit and church events, conferences, and a festival. She has also made cameos in music videos, opened up for comedy shows, and starred in a skit.
She is currently a finalist nominee for the female poet of the year for the St. Louis arts and entertainment awards and recently joined a team of writers for Pulse poetry magazine based out of Florida. The debut issue came out on May 1st.
