On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks with Nanowar of Steel live at Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire, UK.

As soon as the interview begins, it’s clear Nanowar of Steel are all about fun, although they insist they are a very serious band, which they prove by saying they go to Uranus with Michael Sweet with a microphone in their hand. That’s exactly the kind of band they are. They go on to talk about the Frogstock festival they’re going to be playing soon

Pipeman asks about the IKEA fanny pack one the band members were wearing, which is due to the god Odin not being able to pillage anymore due to covid restrictions, so he became the Lord of Furniture and so they were kidnapped and forced to write songs for him. In all seriousness, they were actually doing a tour of IKEA’s when the pandemic hit, where they would have a lunch with fans in IKEA’s restaurants.

After Bloodstock, the guys are working on a new record which is come next year so be sure to keep an eye out for that when it comes out. After Frogstock which they spoke about earlier, they have Summer Breeze which they will be performing at, which sounds like an awesome festival.
