Welcome to the pilot episode of Radiolab Europe, a new space where sound becomes a tool for civic imagination, cultural experimentation, and democratic engagement.In this first episode, we introduce the vision behind the podcast: a transnational citizen laboratory that explores how radio and podcasting can move beyond storytelling to actively shape public space and opinion. Radiolab Europe is not just a podcast — it is a platform for sound urbanism, where audio becomes a form of artistic action and collective reflection.Born from the collaboration between institutions such as the University of Granada, University of Coimbra, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, and Tbilisi State University, alongside the Coconut Association and the Granada City Council, the project connects academia, creativity, and institutions across Europe. This episode sets the ground: why Radiolab Europe exists, who it is for, and how it aims to empower young people to participate in the construction of public opinion in times of disinformation and democratic uncertainty.This is just the beginning.
