Option Intoxicated examines what happens when social media and direct messages turn other people into an endless, low-cost supply. The premise is simple and uncomfortable. The constant availability of new attention trains a person to stay activated by possibility instead of by any actual relationship. What feels like freedom is often the refusal to let any single conversation become final. The thesis is that too many options do not expand the capacity for real connection. They shrink it. Volume replaces depth. Novelty replaces consistency.
