Noviembre 4: El Verdadero Sacrificio.

Salmos 50:1‭-‬15 RVA2015:
El SEÑOR, el Dios de dioses, ha hablado; ha convocado a la tierra desde donde sale el sol hasta donde se pone. Desde Sion, perfección de la hermosura, Dios ha resplandecido. Nuestro Dios viene y no callará. Fuego consumidor le precede, y alrededor de él hay gran tormenta. Convoca a los cielos en lo alto y a la tierra para juzgar a su pueblo. “Reúnanme a mis fieles, los que han hecho conmigo pacto mediante sacrificio”. Los cielos proclamarán su justicia porque Dios es el Juez. Selah
“Escucha, oh pueblo mío, y hablaré; testificaré contra ti, oh Israel. Yo soy Dios, el Dios tuyo. No te reprocharé con respecto a tus sacrificios ni a tus holocaustos, que siempre están delante de mí. No tomaré toros de tu casa ni machos cabríos de tus rediles porque míos son todos los animales del bosque, los millares del ganado en mis montes. Conozco todas las aves de las alturas, y las criaturas del campo son mías. Si yo tuviera hambre, no te lo diría a ti porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud. ¿He de comer la carne de los toros? ¿He de beber la sangre de los machos cabríos? ¡Ofrece a Dios sacrificio de acción de gracias! ¡Paga tus votos al Altísimo! Invócame en el día de la angustia; yo te libraré, y tú me glorificarás”.


En este salmo podemos mirar dos cosas en los primeros versos. Por cuestión de tiempo te pido, por favor, que leas los versos que no alcancé a leer hoy. Quiero enfocar el pensamiento y la reflexión del día de hoy en los primeros versos.
El salmista se convierte en un comunicador de la voz de Dios y nos describe un evento celestial cuando el Señor hace un llamado a todos Sus fieles, a todos los santos que permanecieron fieles en sus sacrificios al Señor y que fueron verdaderos adoradores.
Más adelante, en este salmo, vemos cómo Dios explica cuál es ese sacrificio que Él tanto valora de Sus hijos.
El Señor especifica que los sacrificios que Él espera de Sus hijos no son los animales del campo que se usan para ofrecerlo sobre un altar de fuego. Como ya sabemos, al pueblo de Israel Dios le ordenó ofrecer diferentes clases de sacrificios por el pecado, de holocaustos y también ofrendas de paz y agradecimiento. La lista de los diferentes tipos de ofrendas es variada de acuerdo al tipo de ofrenda y también a la posición económica de la persona. Desde cereales, vino y otras clases de ofrendas vegetales hasta los animalitos como las aves pequeñas, ovejas, carneros, corderos y becerros de diferentes edades.
Pero el Señor es claro, y dice que realmente Él no se enfoca en el tamaño y la forma de la ofrenda presentada delante de Él. No depende tanto del objeto ofrecido sino más bien de la actitud y la intención del corazón de aquel que trae la ofrenda.
¡De nada sirve traer la mejor ofrenda de la manada o de las cosechas si no hay una actitud verdadera de agradecimiento! ¡El Señor quiere ver reflejado en la ofrenda cuán agradecidos estamos! No solamente es traer una ofrenda de la forma tradicional como un voto al Señor, sino que después de eso, ¿qué actitud tenemos todos los días en todas las etapas en las que nos desarrollamos?
¿Eres agradecido por la pareja que Dios te dio o por los hijos que estás criando? ¿Eres agradecido al Señor por ese trabajo que el Señor te ha provisto? ¿Quieres estar agradecido por el lugar donde estás viviendo? ¿Estás dando gracias a Dios continuamente por la iglesia que el Señor ha puesto en tu camino para tu edificación espiritual? ¿Estás agradecido por este devocional que estás escuchando o leyendo?
El Señor realmente quiere ver cuánto dependemos de Él, cuánto valoramos todas las bendiciones que Él nos da. De otra forma estaríamos dando una ofrenda simplemente para demostrar cuán fuertes o inteligentes somos nosotros mismos. En eso consiste dar cualquier clase de ofrenda, ya sea monetaria o cualquier acción de caridad que hagamos. Lo hacemos porque pensamos que somos muy grandes o porque realmente lo hacemos en agradecimiento por las bondades de Dios.

Para terminar, te recomiendo recuerdes las palabras del apóstol Pablo en Colosenses 3:15, y ¡ojalá puedas aprender este verso!: "Y la paz de Cristo gobierne en su corazón, pues a ella fueron llamados en un solo cuerpo, y sean agradecidos."

Considera:
¿Cuál es mi actitud todos los días delante de Dios?
¿Clamo al Señor solamente para pedirle cosas o hablo con Él todos los días porque simplemente estoy agradecido?

November 4: The True Sacrifice.

Psalms 50:1-15:
The Mighty One, God the Lord, has spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth. Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people: “Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Selah
“Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am God, your God! I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, which are continually before Me. I will not take a bull from your house, nor goats out of your folds. For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”


In this psalm we can look at two things in the first verses. For a matter of time I ask you, please, to read the verses that I could not read today. I want to focus today's thought and reflection on the first verses.
The psalmist becomes a communicator of the voice of God and describes to us a heavenly event when the Lord makes a call to all His faithful, to all the saints who remained faithful in their sacrifices to the Lord and who were true worshipers.
Later in this psalm, we see how God explains what that sacrifice is that He values ​​so highly of His children.
The Lord specifies that the sacrifices that He expects from His children are not the animals of the field that are used to offer it on a fire altar. As we already know, God ordered the people of Israel to offer different kinds of sacrifices for sin, burnt offerings and also offerings of peace and thanksgiving. The list of the different types of offerings is varied according to the type of offering and also to the economic position of the person. From cereals, wine and other kinds of vegetable offerings to animals such as small birds, sheep, rams, lambs and calves of different ages.
But the Lord is clear, and He says that He does not really focus on the size and shape of the offering presented before Him. It does not depend so much on the object offered but rather on the attitude and the intention of the heart of the one who brings the offering.
It is useless to bring the best offering of the herd or of the harvests if there is not a true attitude of gratitude! The Lord wants to see reflected in the offering how grateful we are! Not only is it bringing an offering in the traditional way as a vow to the Lord, but after that, what attitude do we have every day in all the stages in which we develop?
Are you grateful for the partner God gave you or for the children you are raising? Are you grateful to the Lord for that work the Lord has provided for you? Do you want to be grateful for the place where you are living? Are you continually thanking God for the church that the Lord has placed in your path for your spiritual edification? Are you grateful for this devotional that you are listening or reading to?
The Lord really wants to see how much we depend on Him, how much we value all the blessings He gives us. Otherwise we would be giving an offering simply to show how strong or intelligent we ourselves are. That is what giving any kind of offering consists of, be it monetary or any charitable action that we do. We do it because we think we are too great or because we really do it out of gratitude for God's goodness.

To finish, I recommend you remember the words of the apostle Paul in Colossians 3:15, and hopefully you can learn this verse!: “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

Consider this:
What is my attitude before God every day?
Do I cry out to the Lord just to ask for things, or do I talk to Him every day because I'm just thankful?
