The issue is that if one continues to listen to his music, one is financially allowing him to continue to profit from that. And, then R. Kelly continues to use those profits to continue his criminal actions, and this causes innocent victims to suffer real and lasting damage.

I know that Wagner was a disgusting racist, but I also know he is long dead, and so are his heirs and his estate does not exist. So, there is no risk of my support of a Wagner concert actually allowing his hate to continue.

If I patronize R. Kelly, I am aiding and abetting R. Kelly’s future crimes, and creating new young victims.

Can you truly separate a creation from it's creator?

You have to understand that a creation is based on the creator and if said creator is singing songs of love and loves underage girls in real life, that person is obviously singing about loving underage girls.

Whether you want to see it or not, music is the reflection of thoughts and feelings and he sings about whom/what he loves.

Next time you watch a video of him thrusting his hips at a live concert, know that behind that he is really thrusting to girls.
