Fi: Aino ja Mikko kävelivät hiljaisella polulla kohti Saimaan rantaa.
En: Aino and Mikko walked along a quiet path towards the shore of Saimaa.

Fi: Oli ilta, ja auringonlasku värjäsi taivaan vaaleanpunaiseksi.
En: It was evening, and the sunset painted the sky pink.

Fi: Aino piti Mikon kädestä kiinni ja katsoi eteenpäin mietteliäänä.
En: Aino held Mikko’s hand and looked ahead thoughtfully.
