This week on Opinions Mystery Movie Theatre Jay and TJ watched The Hunt, An action horror thriller that was released in 2020 directed by Craig Zobel. starred Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank and Ethan Suplee. And was produced by Jason Blum of the famed Blumhouse studio.
The film had a budget of roughly $15million which it struggled to make back at the box office but considering the controversies surrounding its release this wasn't really a big surprise. The film scored a 56% on the Tomatometer and 66% Audience Score over on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film follows 12 strangers that wake up in a field ball gagged and disoriented. They come to find out they have been picked for a very special event, that event being a hunt........A human hunt, the film mixes some catchy one liners with moments of action mayhem, plenty of blood and some interesting twists
