Melanie is a flight nurse from Southwest Kansas. She’s a go-getter with a packed schedule and a heart for helping others. Melanie is thankful for the lessons her father shared with her in the short years she had with him. Her father's experience with cancer changed the course of her life, and she realized early on that if she wasn’t okay, her family couldn’t be okay. Melanie uses exercise, staying busy, and helping others as coping mechanisms, and never misses a chance to look life in the eye and give it 110%.
