This week my guest is the Head Coach of the Bucknell University women's lacrosse team, Remi Steele. Remi authored a personal and impotrant article on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) blog, "Behind The Whistle" that talks about the importance of coaches understanding how to recognize and address the stress they are under, which can lead to anxiety, depression, and poor mental health.
Coaches are just as big competitiors as (if not bigger than) their players - but if coaches are looking out the mental health of their players, who's looking out for the coaches?...Listen in for a journey that went through the darker times but now includes a bright future.
