Sk: Lukáš sa potil na slnečnom námestí v Bratislave.
En: Lukáš was sweating in the sunny square in Bratislava.

Sk: Turisti okolo neho prechádzali a tešili sa na dobrodružstvá v Starom Meste.
En: Tourists walked past him, looking forward to adventures in the Old Town.

Sk: Lukáš práve prišiel z malého mestečka a bolo to jeho prvé stretnutie s rušným mestom.
En: Lukáš had just arrived from a small town and it was his first experience in a bustling city.

Sk: Vedel, že sa musí stretnúť s Katarínou, jeho starou priateľkou z vysoké školy, ale najprv chcel objaviť krásy Bratislavy.
En: He knew he had to meet Katarína, his old friend from college, but first, he wanted to explore the beauties of Bratislava.

Sk: Stál pri fontáne, ktorá hrala čarovnú hudbu vodných kvapiek, keď si všimol muža oblečeného v historickom kostýme.
En: He stood by the fountain, which played a magical music of water droplets, when he noticed a man dressed in historical costume.

Sk: Lukáš si pomyslel, že to musí byť turistický sprievodca.
En: Lukáš thought he must be a tour guide.

Sk: Bez váhania za ním vykročil, keďže sa muž rozprával samé zaujímavosti o okolitých budovách.
En: Without hesitation, he followed the man as he talked about interesting facts about the surrounding buildings.

Sk: Minúta za minútou, hodina za hodinou, Lukáš nasledoval výstredne oblečeného muža, pozeral ako rozdáva úsmevy, vtipy a niekedy aj svoje umenie náhodne okoloidúcim.
En: Minute by minute, hour by hour, Lukáš followed the eccentrically dressed man, watching as he handed out smiles, jokes, and sometimes even his art to random passersby.

Sk: Lukáš si myslel, že ide o nový štýl prehliadky, tak nepochyboval.
En: Lukáš thought it was a new style of tour, so he had no doubts.

Sk: Pred Dramatickým barokovým kostolom sa zastavili a muž začal hrať na fľaštičky s vodou.
En: They stopped in front of the dramatic baroque church, and the man started playing with water bottles.

Sk: Melódie boli ako dotyky víly, krásne a strhujúce.
En: The melodies were like fairy touches, beautiful and captivating.

Sk: Lukáš zaplesal s davom a tešil sa, že toto je najlepší sprievodca, akého mohol mať.
En: Lukáš danced with the crowd and was delighted that this was the best guide he could have.

Sk: Konečne muž skončil svoje predstavenie a Lukáš sa k nemu bližšie predral.
En: Finally, the man finished his performance and Lukáš approached him.

Sk: "Dakujem za úžasnú prehliadku!
En: "Thank you for the amazing tour!"

Sk: " povedal Lukáš.
En: said Lukáš.

Sk: Muž sa usmial, s prekvapením v očiach, a odpovedal: "Prehliadku?
En: The man smiled, with surprise in his eyes, and replied, "Tour?

Sk: Ja som umelec, zábavca, nie sprievodca.
En: I'm an artist, entertainer, not a guide."

Sk: "Lukáš bol zaskočený.
En: Lukáš was taken aback.

Sk: Zistil, že jednu hodinu nasledoval uličného umelca, umelca, ktorý vôbec nebol sprievodca.
En: He realized that for an hour, he had been following a street artist, not a guide at all.

En: Lukáš told her his story, and Katarína started laughing.

Sk: "Iba ty by si mohol nasledovať umelca namiesto sprievodcu," povedala so širokým úsmevom.
En: "Only you would follow an artist instead of a guide," she said with a broad smile.

Sk: Usmievali sa a s úsmevom vykročili spolu ulicami Starého Mesta, tentoraz v správnom smeru, s pravým sprievodcom – ich vzájomnou spoločnosťou.
En: They smiled and walked together through the streets of the Old Town, this time in the right direction, with the right guide – each other's company.

Sk: Lukáš si uvedomil, že niekedy cesta a osoby, ktoré stretnete, môžu byť rovnako úžasné ako samotný cieľ.
En: Lukáš realized that sometimes the journey and the people you meet can be just as amazing as the destination itself.

Sk: A omyl ho priviedol k nezabudnuteľnému príbehu a k smiechu s priateľkou, ktorý bude pamätať navždy.
