Sk: V starom meste Bratislavy, kde sa kamenné uličky vinú medzi stredovekými domami ako had, Jana prechádzala popri starobylých obchodoch a obdivovala krásu mesta v ktorom vyrastala.
En: In the old town of Bratislava, where the stone alleyways wind among medieval houses like snakes, Jana walked past ancient shops and admired the beauty of the city she had grown up in.

Sk: Na námestí, kde sa ľudia zhromažďovali, aby videli umelcov a pouličných performerov, bola atmosféra vždy plná radosti a prekvapení.
En: In the square, where people gathered to see artists and street performers, the atmosphere was always filled with joy and surprise.

Sk: Jana milovala soboty, pretože práve vtedy bolo mesto najživšie.
En: Jana loved Saturdays, as the city was liveliest then.

En: And amidst all this, stood Peter, completely focused, with closed eyes, silently admiring a statue of a saint that seemed as if it were walking among us.

Sk: "Naozaj?" zaujímala sa Jana. "Vyzeráte tak vážne, ako keby ste boli súčasťou predstavenia."
En: "Really?" Jana inquired. "You look so serious, as if you were part of the performance."

Sk: "To je naozaj pochvala," povedal Peter. Oči sa mu zaleskli zábavou. "Vám sa páčia predstavenia na ulici?"
En: "That's quite a compliment," said Peter. His eyes sparkled with amusement. "Do you enjoy street performances?"

Sk: "Áno, sú neuveriteľné," odvetila Jana s úsmevom. "A prekvapivé, ako ste mohli teraz vidno."
En: "Yes, they're incredible," replied Jana with a smile. "And surprising, like you were just now."

Sk: Odtiaľ sa rozvíjal ich rozhovor a Jana a Peter spolu začali objavovať iné kúty starého mesta.
En: From there, their conversation developed, and Jana and Peter began to explore other corners of the old town together.

Sk: Medzi historické budovy a umelcami sa narodilo niečo okúzlujúce - nové priateľstvo.
