25-year-old Emma Baum was nine months pregnant with her fourth child when she disappeared from Gary, Indiana on October 10th, 2024. Emma was last known to be near 25th Avenue and Connecticut Street, where she had gone to visit the father of her unborn child. But sometime after arriving in that area, Emma vanished — leaving behind a family searching not only for answers about what happened to her, but also what happened to the baby she was just days away from delivering. What followed would raise questions about Emma’s final known movements, the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, and a timeline that remains incomplete nearly two years later...
