Hey there, folks! Welcome to your Coastal Waters Forecast for East Central Florida brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Let's dive right in and see what Mother Nature has in store for us.

First up, we've got a cool front trucking its way through the area, followed by some high-pressure action that's going to stick around for a while. What does this mean for you? Well, get ready for some moderate to fresh northeasterly winds and some not-so-great boating conditions.

If you're planning to sail the Atlantic coastal waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, hold onto your hats because those north winds will be ramping up to a breezy 20 to 25 miles per hour, with seas reaching heights of 9 feet. Better watch out for those rough waters!

For those closer in, from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, small craft should definitely exercise caution this morning with winds increasing throughout the day. Seas building up to 7 feet or more so make sure you're prepared for a bit of a rollercoaster on the water.

And further out from Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet, it's pretty much the same story - small craft should be cautious as those winds kick up and seas could be reaching heights of up to 9 feet. Hang tight, it's going to be a bit choppy out there!
