Alright, folks! Let's dive into the coastal waters forecast for East Central Florida brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

Today through early this week, we have a high pressure ridge settling in, making for some improved boating conditions. But brace yourselves because a cold front is on its way Tuesday, followed by some strong north winds later in the week, leading to some choppy waters and rough conditions.

If you're planning to navigate the Gulf Stream, no hazards to worry about there. Just keep in mind its approximate location to ensure smooth sailing.

For Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, we've got a mix of winds shifting from west to northwest, with seas around 2 to 3 feet, so not too shabby for a day on the water. But by mid-week, hold on tight as those northerly winds ramp up, creating rough conditions with seas building up to 5 to 6 feet.

Moving into Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet, expect similar trends with some light winds and smooth seas early on, but by mid-week, north winds pick up significantly, bringing in some choppier waters and rougher seas up to 8 feet or so.

And for those venturing further out, Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line between 20-60 nm, and beyond Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet, we're looking at increasing wind speeds and higher seas as the week progresses. So, make sure your vessels are good to go for some more challenging conditions.
