Hey there, folks! Time to dive into the waters of our coastal forecast for East Central Florida. So, if you're planning to set sail from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, listen up.

Currently, we've got some seriously gusty winds from the north to northeast making boating a bit of a daredevil act all the way through tonight. Keep those sails in check! But hey, things start looking up this weekend as a high-pressure ridge moves in. By Tuesday, a cold front might make a guest appearance.

Now, cruising through the Gulf Stream today, expect north winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour and seas reaching up to a whopping 19 feet. Hang tight, sailors!

For the smaller crafts nearer to the shore, including Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, hold on to your hats with northeast winds at 20 to 25 miles per hour creating seas up to 12 feet, occasionally hitting 15 feet. A bit choppy out there.

As we move into the weekend, those winds settle down a bit to around 10 knots, but still keeping those seas bumpy. And remember, keep an eye out for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms rolling in on Saturday afternoon.
