Episode 208 is Matthew Konya. Matt is an associate attorney with Page, Wolfberg & Wirth, LLC, and has been involved in EMS for nearly 15 years. He obtained his first responder certification while in high school, and his emergency medical technician certification at Penn State University. After graduating from Penn State, he worked full time as an EMT in State College Pennsylvania for four years before attending law school at Widener University Commonwealth. Matt continues to works part-time as an EMT. We discuss the article he wrote at JEMS.com regarding behavioral health in EMS, burnout, and COVID and how they intersect.
