The reason that he is not afraid of the darkness, is because the LIGHT, (God) is on his side.

We need light to survive, and see. You can not follow darkness, and expect to be able to see.

Well you can call him LORD, or Master. You can call Him The LIGHT. The Savior. You can call Him GOd Almighty. Because the bible uses many names to refer to HIM.
