The cinemas might have been a wasteland this year and with restrictions delaying productions of all kinds you could be forgiven for believing the small screen might be barren too. Thankfully there's been a constant drip-feed of entertainment to keep us sane in this most bunkered down of years.

In fact, we've had some of the highest quality shows of the year these past few weeks, including the second seasons of the Umbrella Academy and The Boys and the debut of HBO's twisted take on the black experience in 1950's Lovecraft Country.
