Glorious! While we have heard that Jesus performed miracles to demonstrate that He was the Son of God, the word that the Spirit is speaking through them is that "this is our true, spiritual reality in Christ." Our spiritual diseases (fragmentations) are made whole, spiritual blindness given sight and our inner thirsting that had only found temporary reliefs are permeently queched when we take him into ourselves. And just as Jesus was performing an outward sign that pointed to the inward reality as He miraculously fed the masses (pointing to Himself as the fulfillment of our true spiritual hunger), when he was approaching the disciples, walking on the Sea of Galilee, they were battling the wind until He entered the boat. Then when He entered the boat, they immediately reached their destination. Another outward miracle communicating that our inward strivings in which we seem stuck with everythng against us find their fulfillment in purpose and meaning as our eyes are opened to recognize Christ in the center of it all.
