We also discuss trust at length. Trusting the wrong person concerning domestic violence can be the worst mistake you have ever made and even worst, could mean life or death. While listening to the podcast I realize how much value this will be to the young boys and girls of our communities.

Talking to Elizabeth Disnuke was not easy. The story of her abusive relationship is enough to make you cry as well as look at domestic abuse differently. In this conversation we find out when the abuse first started. Although this happened more than a decade ago Elizabeth remembers the first time like it just happened yesterday. Unfortunately I have met many woman who have been victims of domestic abuse and I am saddened to say that this is definitely one of the most senseless of them all.
