Levítico 20: Abominaciones

Levítico 20:1‭-‬9 RVA2015:
El SEÑOR habló a Moisés diciendo: “Di también a los hijos de Israel que cualquier persona de los hijos de Israel, o de los extranjeros que residen en medio de Israel, que ofrezca alguno de sus descendientes a Moloc, morirá irremisiblemente. El pueblo de la tierra lo apedreará. Yo mostraré mi ira contra tal persona y la excluiré de entre su pueblo, porque ofreció alguno de sus descendientes a Moloc, contaminando mi santuario y profanando mi santo nombre. Si el pueblo de la tierra cierra sus ojos ante la persona que ofreció alguno de sus descendientes a Moloc, a fin de no hacerlo morir, yo mostraré mi ira contra esa persona y contra su familia, y la excluiré de entre su pueblo, junto con todos los que se prostituyeron en pos de ella prostituyéndose con Moloc. “Si una persona recurre a los que evocan a los muertos y a los adivinos para prostituirse tras ellos, yo mostraré mi ira contra tal persona y la excluiré de entre su pueblo. “Santifíquense, pues, y sean santos, porque yo, el SEÑOR, soy su Dios. Guarden y practiquen mis estatutos. Yo, el SEÑOR, que los santifico. “Cuando alguna persona maldiga a su padre o a su madre, morirá irremisiblemente. Ha maldecido a su padre o a su madre; su sangre será sobre ella.

En este capítulo podemos leer una serie de acciones claras que Dios aborrecía totalmente y le advertía al pueblo que, si practicaban estas acciones abominables, ellos debían actuar bajo la ley y expulsar o exterminar a la persona cometiendo estas acciones malvadas.
Abominable significa: rechazo y condena enérgica de algo que causa repulsión. Esto es precisamente todo lo que Dios está haciendo, rechazando y condenando con firmeza las cosas que son supremamente desagradables.

Ayer vimos una lista de cosas que delante de Dios son injustas y merecen castigo. Estas son condenables.
Debes leer todo el capítulo completo para que mires las diferentes clases de abominaciones. Una de ellas es la adoración a Moloc.
Moloc era uno de los dioses que se unían a la adoración a Baal. Este dios, representado con cuerpo humano y cabeza de toro, recibía las ofrendas de vidas humanas, específicamente de bebés. Era de bronce y calentado al fuego, diseñado con las manos extendidas para que la ofrenda fuera puesta en sus manos.
Esta forma de adoración era una de las más despreciables delante de Dios, sin embargo, el pueblo se apartó tanto de Dios que terminaron practicando esta clase de idolatría. Por eso el Señor, después de tenerle mucha paciencia y perdonarlos muchas veces, permitió que ellos cayeran en cautiverio, su ciudad fue destruida y su templo demolido.

Hoy en día vemos cómo se ha aceptado a nivel mundial la practica del aborto como método anticonceptivo. Se practica sin ningún remordimiento, sin compasión por la vida en gestación.
Además, el abuso infantil sigue en aumento. Esto es señal que el espíritu de Moloc sigue vigente y todavía siendo influencia en la humanidad.

También vemos la lucha continua entre el bien y el mal, cuando vemos el rechazo de Dios hacia las diferentes clases de brujería, hechicería y nigromancia, que es la práctica de consultar el futuro llamando a los muertos. Hoy en día vemos estas prácticas poniéndose de moda, atrayendo a muchos jóvenes y familias que buscan la abundancia material por medio del ocultismo.
Guardemos a nuestras familias de estas prácticas. En la antigüedad, si el pueblo no castigaba y retiraba a estas personas, Dios mismo dijo que Él tomaría cartas en el asunto, trayendo castigo divino.
Enseñemos estas cosas a nuestros hijos para que no caigan en estas prácticas diabólicas por más atractivas que se vean o sientan curiosidad en conocer y experimentar.

Leviticus 20: Abominations

Leviticus 20:1-9:
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Again, you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name. And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives some of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him, then I will set My face against that man and against his family; and I will cut him off from his people, and all who prostitute themselves with him to commit harlotry with Molech.
‘And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
‘For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him.

In this chapter we can read a series of clear actions that God totally abhorred and warned the people that if they practiced these abominable actions, they should act under the law and expel or exterminate the person committing these evil actions.
Abominable means: rejection and energetic condemnation of something that causes repulsion. This is precisely all that God is doing, firmly rejecting and condemning the things that are supremely unpleasant.

Yesterday we saw a list of things that before God are unjust and deserve punishment. These are damnable.
You must read the entire chapter to see the different kinds of abominations. One of them is the worship of Molech.
Molech was one of the gods who joined in the worship of Baal. This god, represented with a human body and a bull's head, received the offerings of human lives, specifically babies. He was made of bronze and heated by fire, designed with his hands outstretched so that the offering was placed in his hands.
This form of worship was one of the most despicable before God, however, the people turned away from God so much that they ended up practicing this kind of idolatry. So the Lord, after being patient with them and forgiving them many times, allowed them to fall into captivity, his city was destroyed and his temple was demolished.

Today we see how the practice of abortion as a contraceptive method has been accepted worldwide. It is practiced without any remorse, without compassion for life in gestation.
In addition, child abuse continues to rise. This is a sign that the spirit of Molech is still in force and is still influencing humanity.

We also see the ongoing struggle between good and evil, as we see God's rejection of the different kinds of witchcraft, sorcery and necromancy, which is the practice of consulting the future by calling the dead. Today we see these practices becoming fashionable, attracting many young people and families who seek material abundance through the occult.
Let us keep our families from these practices. In ancient times, if the people did not punish and remove these people, God Himself said that He would take matters into His own hands, bringing divine punishment.
Let us teach these things to our children so that they do not fall into these diabolical practices no matter how attractive they look or they are curious to know and experience.
