Ga: Siobhán a bhí sa bhaile le tamall fada.
En: Siobhán had been at home for a long while.

En: One day, she took her old cloak and left for the Cliffs of Moher.

En: The sun was shining high in the sky.

Ga: Chuir Siobhán fáilte roimh an ngrúpa turasóirí.
En: Siobhán welcomed the group of tourists.

Ga: "Fáilte romhaibh!
En: "Welcome!"
