Kevin is the author of, “Dear Stephen Michael's Mother: A Memoir.”

The book is a memoir of how a young boy who was abandoned, abused, and addicted; transformed into a man with the hope, courage and resilience to seek his biological mother.

Kevin’s story begins at being abandoned by his mother at birth. He then began a cycle of adoption, addiction, and child sexual abuse. By the time he was 20, Kevin completely fell into a suicidal lifestyle of drug dealing and prostitution.

At 45 and after many years of recovery, Kevin began a painful journey to uncover his origins, and the search for his mother.
