She created the ground-breaking Urban Retreat Spa in Harrods, revolutionised Marks & Spencer beauty halls into a "house of brands" and most recently went to Holland & Barrett to overhaul their beauty offering, bringing it into an era of self-care. She had a challenging childhood, was unable to read at fourteen and went on shoplifting sprees with her mum in some of the stores she now consults with.
