JP Morgan is seeking the identity of the Epstein accuser who is seeking to sue them, as well as another financial institution, Deutsche Bank. According to the filing, the bank says the identity is crucial for them to move forward with the defense of the lawsuit and that they have a right to know the identity of who is a accusing him.
The lawyers for the survivor who is accusing the bank of enabling and profiting from Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise, say this is nothing more than another ploy in an attempt intimidate the accusers.
Judge Rakoff is yet to make a decision.
