It felt more like a cost-cutting move for Houston than anything. As it relates to the Nets, Jason argues that the addition of Harden doesn't actually make Brooklyn demonstrably better. The on-court fit between Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is clunky at best, and you could say the addition of Harden feels more like insurance against another Kyrie sabbatical.
