Jacob Rothacher will always be the best friend that I've ever known. We met in early 2019 shortly after my horrible mother duped me into coming back to Placerville after 10 years in the Bay.

He was a kind and caring man that always had time to listen to me talk about people that he'd known all his life. He never lied to me and looked out for me even when I was on my own and sleeping outside in Hangtown, California.

The loss of his life on March 7, 2024 had a profound and spirit crushing effect on me. He was like my kid and my brother and I still can't believe he's never coming back.
