Is there too much football? That might seem like a counter intuitive question on a podcast made by and for people who are in love with the beautiful game.
It was prompted by the injury sustained by Mo Salah while playing for Egypt at the African Cup of Nations…as well as carrying the hopes of his nation, Salah plays for Liverpool in the Champions League, the Premier League and if they won that he’d be expected to turn out in the newly enlarged World Club Cup.
Are we just being unfair in our demands on players? And what about us supporters? Football was a once a week treat live in the stadium, now its online and on telly all the time. So will familiarity breed contempt. With Charlie Methven and Adrian Goldberg.
