Relevant to this subject matter is her book titled, "Broken Pieces" which tackles topics such as love, loss, sexual abuse, date rape, and grief; told in pieces or fragments inspiring the title "Broken Pieces."
As part of her advocacy for survivors she has connected with other survivors of childhood sexual abuse and has provided a safe place to discuss their stories. This has become an unexpected yet vital part of her own recovery.
