The truth is, we need to talk about this impact, we need to hear the stories of success. We need to hear the trails and lessons learned by our current or past teachers. These stories make the unimaginable real. Having a teacher of color, not only helps a student of color's education, but life outlook. In this episode, I break down the facts and percentages of students success rates, from having teachers who look like them in the classroom. I also talk about the importance of a student-to-teacher academic relationship in and out of the classroom. Teachers of colors matter!
