This week, dear listeners, we're delving into a, dare we say, 'fun' topic? If not fun, then definitely on theme for a spooky Halloween tale - murders that inspired movies! Most of the movies inspired by these tales are horror movies, because of course they are, but some, like Snowtown, are horrifying in a much darker way. And that's not surprising, considering how horrific most of these murders are. We have a serial killer gone wild, at least in his imagination, a murderer who fancies himself a vigilante, metal bands who take their lifestyles VERY seriously, and, of course, the case that inspired one of our favorite teen horror flicks, Scream!
These cases are truly awe inspiring, AND movie inspiring, so we hope you like learning a little about the true stories behind your favorite horror films. And while it might be cool to live forever on the big screen, do you very best to stay off of this and all other lists!
