We've always heard how kids say the darndest things. So do adults. Especially that inner voice that endlessly knocks on your attention span. You say the darndest things but usually choose to walk away from why the thought entered your path. Lets be up front and honest. There's nothing worse then walking into a job you hate. Maybe not hate. You just don't agree with the season you're presently in. How do you reach beyond that storm? I've watched 41 years of Broadcasters walk those halls and still put on some of the best performances. How do comedians confess to having an extremely dark path and yet they powerfully deliver messages that make huge rooms laugh? Do you really think your boss enjoys being in the office? Plastic coated bathroom mirror smiles aren't reality. There's something completely invisible that keeps hard work, dedication and loyalty on a path of success. Doubters will tell you that its the art of survival. I'm not going to argue. On this podcast we travel back to November 12, 2016. One sentence penned out during my daily handwritten prayers changed the color of the dark cloud. I live because you have gifted. Wait! That doesn't scream religion. You can stay a little longer. You live because you have been gifted. A lot of times in those radio hallways I'd ask the talent how their day was going. This reply was experienced hundreds of times, "Existing." Not a negative but a recognition of their present place. The vocal tones might have been pointed downward but the thought of knowing you exist is perfectly in tune with being present with the "Now" Have you ever looked up the words Alive and Living? One word keeps them from being the same. Alive uses the word existing. You live because you've been gifted. You exist. No matter how many times people look at you while working only to walk away... it doesn't matter. Your gift may not be for them today. People build teams to support their vision. When your vision needs to count say it, "I live because you gifted." You exist! See yourself before you let others judge or ignore.
