Throughout my career in higher education, I have learned that everyone who plays any of these positions, whether they are involved in postgraduate or undergraduate degree programs, merely does their best to instruct and guide a learning process. Nevertheless, one who aims to direct a transformational learning experience and goes above and beyond the typical responsibilities of teaching is seen as an educator.
