Armstrong obtained her yoga instructor certification in Bali. Following her encounter with Strickland in 2019, she developed an interest in cycling.

Chris Tolley: He eagerly introduced her to his cycling passion and actively engaged her in it. She soon became enamored with cycling, just like Colin.

Armstrong even began participating in amateur races.

Chris Tolley: In the end, I believe their relationship was quite ordinary. They enjoyed cycling together and engaged in fun activities. However, when 2020 arrived and the pandemic started, everyone found themselves in close quarters with their partners.

Eventually, the couple decided to move in together.

Chris Tolley: The moment I realized their relationship was becoming more serious was when they mentioned that they had recently purchased a house together. This indicated to me that their commitment was significant.

They also embarked on a joint venture, restoring vintage trailers.
