Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! Get ready for some exciting wave action with your Hawaii surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Honolulu. Let's dive right in!

So, the current south-southwest swell is on the decline, but don't fret - another pulse of energy is heading our way late Thursday into Friday, bringing some decent surf around the usual levels. And guess what? This weekend, we're looking at a swell that might just push those waves to High Surf Advisory heights of up to 10 feet! But wait, there's more - next week could see an even bigger swell, potentially exceeding advisory levels. So keep those boards waxed and ready!

For tonight in Kauai, we're looking at some solid surf on the North and South-facing shores, ranging from 4-7 feet. Expect partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and lows in the lower 70s. The winds will be blowing from the East at 10 to 15 mph.

Moving on to Oahu, similar conditions with a mix of sun and isolated showers. North and South-facing shores can expect waves in the 4-7 feet range. Keep an eye out for high tides at various spots and get ready for a UV Index that's off the charts!

Over in Maui, waves will be ranging from 2-7 feet on different shores, with sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s. So grab your sunscreen and catch those waves!

Now, onto the Big Island - Windward and Southeast areas can look forward to 4-7 feet of surf on the North and South-facing shores, amid some sunshine and isolated showers. Lows around 70 and gentle East winds of 5-10 mph.

And for the Big Island Leeward side, expect 3-7 feet on the West and South-facing shores, with a mix of clouds and sun. Watch out for some scattered showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. Northwesterly winds shifting to the north after midnight.

Remember, surf heights can vary, rip currents are a real thing, so be cautious and, as always, stay safe out there.
