On this week's program, host Phil Tower from iHeartradio welcomes HOLO Footwear CEO, Rommel Vega. Phil spoke with Rommel this summer as a part of WOOD Radio's CEOs, You Should Know podcast feature. HOLO Footwear recently relocated to Grand Rapids. HOLO is best known for its brand attributes, including its sustainable outdoor footwear. HOLO makes shoes using recycled materials, and it focuses on making sure those shoes are affordable for all. CEO Rommel Vega has built his career in the footwear, accessories, and consumer goods product industries. Before founding HOLO FOOTWEAR, Vega was Lifestyle design director for Merrell, the largest division of Wolverine World Wide. Prior to Merrell, he led the lifestyle design team at Keen Footwear, he was a senior designer at Columbia Sportswear. Rommel also has previous experience with global brands such as Puma, Gerry Outdoors, and Fossil watches.
