Ministry of Health | Sunday Spoken Reflection — October 18, 2026
What remains when the world around us begins to shake?
In Hebrews 12, we are reminded that everything capable of being shaken may be shaken, so that what cannot be moved may remain.
And in Matthew 7, Jesus tells of two houses—one built upon sand, the other upon rock. Both encounter the storm. Only one stands.
Continuing from Ministry Dispatch #143, Having Done All, to Stand, this Sunday reflection turns our attention from the uncertainty of worldly institutions toward the foundation that cannot be moved.
We are not called to spend our lives waiting for the world to become stable.
We are called to hear the words of Jesus, put them into practice, order our households, care for one another, and walk faithfully in the light we have been given.
The storm does not create the foundation. It reveals it.
The systems of men may change. Records may endure. But our calling is greater than preserving what has already happened.
The living must actually live.
Having done all, to stand.
And having stood, now arise.
