David Dorozi was bon in a little town of Eagle Rock, in the Northeast section of Los Angeles, California. He has now completed his second book, which is the life story of his sister,” Kathy Odare”, who was a major TV star in the 1970’s and co-stared with Ronnie Howard on the one of the number one sitcom of all time, “Happy Days”, and other major TV shows and movies. After her childhood and teen stardom, she encountered and struggled with mental illness. Dave became a caretaker of his sister in her later years from the age of 20 to 52 years old, when she passed away. He took her journals and scrapbooks, and his memories, and was able to tell his sister’s story, and how he was able to make her life better. His first book was about his father, the life story of Tony D’Orazi, who was one of the first cartoonists for Walt Disney and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He also created the character Dopey. This cartoon movie is still considered one of the biggest longest running movies of all time. Tony, Dave’s father also struggled with mental illness, and survived 5 nervous breakdowns, and 37 shock treatments, and still managed to be successful after each one, and kept coming back, and being successful at whatever he was doing. David ended up becoming aa caretaker of his father as well as his sister during their lifetime. He gave them the best support he could give them as their caretaker during their struggling times. Taking care of mentally ill people within a family is very difficult, but he claims it has enabled him to be a better person, and indirectly has helped him be the award-winning salesman, that he has become throughout his lifetime. He is still selling and still getting awards.
