Génesis 6: Tocando las emociones de Dios.

Hoy vamos a aprender que Dios tiene emociones y debemos vivir con integridad para agradarlo.

Génesis 6:5-14 RVA2015:
5 El SEÑOR vio que la maldad del hombre era mucha en la tierra, y que toda tendencia de los pensamientos de su corazón era de continuo sólo al mal. 6 Entonces el SEÑOR lamentó haber hecho al hombre en la tierra, y le dolió en su corazón. 7 Y dijo el SEÑOR: “Arrasaré de la faz de la tierra los seres que he creado, desde el hombre hasta el ganado, los reptiles y las aves del cielo; porque lamento haberlos hecho”. 8 Pero Noé halló gracia ante los ojos del SEÑOR.
9 Esta es la historia de Noé: Noé era un hombre justo y cabal en su generación; Noé caminaba con Dios. 10 Noé engendró tres hijos: Sem, Cam y Jafet. 11 La tierra estaba corrompida delante de Dios; estaba llena de violencia. 12 Dios miró la tierra, y he aquí que estaba corrompida, porque toda carne había corrompido su camino sobre la tierra.
13 Entonces Dios dijo a Noé: “He decidido el final de toda carne, porque la tierra está llena de violencia por culpa de ellos. He aquí que los destruiré junto con la tierra. 14 Hazte un arca de madera de árbol de ciprés. Haz compartimentos al arca, y cúbrela con brea por dentro y por fuera.


Este capítulo es la continuación del devocional de ayer. Ayer aprendimos acerca de la descendencia de Noé, y hoy aprenderemos cómo Dios los llamó con una misión especial para que construyeran un arca para salvar a su familia y a los seres vivientes de la condenación que vendría al mundo entero.
La razón de la condenación fue porque el ser humano se corrompió. Corromper significa el deterioro de valores, usos o costumbres.
En esta ocasión, los descendientes de Set y de Enoc que, supuestamente, deberían haber seguido los pasos de sus antepasados, prefirieron seguir los pasos de Caín y sus descendientes. Ellos se inclinaron a hacer lo malo.
Lo que me llama la atención es que estos comportamientos le dolieron al Señor. El curso que la humanidad tomó al abandonar sus principios morales y espirituales hizo que las emociones de Dios fueran afectadas. Me impresiona notar que Dios expresa sus sentimientos. Frustración, enojo, dolor, tristeza, lamentación y arrepentimiento.
En esto quiero que nos enfoquemos hoy. Pensemos que cada acción que hacemos toca las emociones de Dios. ¿El Señor se alegra o se entristece de nosotros? ¿Se enoja o siente paz? ¿Se siente orgulloso o decepcionado de nuestras acciones?
Él se sintió orgulloso de Lot y hasta lo exhibió como uno de sus mejores hijos delante de Satanás. David fue uno que tocaba continuamente el corazón de Dios. Moisés hablaba con Él cara a cara como ningún otro ser humano sobre la faz de la tierra. María halló gracia ante el Señor y la eligió como un instrumento para concebir y traer al mundo a nuestro Salvador.
Muchos tocaron positivamente las emociones de Dios. Otros lo traicionaron, lo decepcionaron, lo entristecieron porque tomaron el camino equivocado; lo hicieron enojar y trajeron para ellos condenación y muerte. Otros se alejaron de la gracia de Dios y perdieron la bendición de Dios.
Dependiendo de las decisiones que ellos tomaron, esas decisiones favorecieron o afectaron a sus familias. Por la vida justa que vivió Noé, él trajo salvación a su esposa, sus hijos y nueras. Al contrario de Lot y Acán, quienes trajeron condenación a sus familias.
Cuidemos bien cómo andamos mientras estemos en vida, esto hará a nuestro Creador y Salvador muy feliz; y además, lloverá sobre tu familia un diluvio de bendiciones.

Escudriñemos:
Usemos hoy la técnica llamada PROBARLO, donde podemos examinar lecciones profundas en este capítulo. Recuerda las series de preguntas que debemos hacernos con el acrónimo:
P – ¿Hay algún pecado que confesar?
A – ¿Hay una actitud que cambiar?
P – ¿Hay alguna promesa que reclamar?
A – ¿Hay algo por lo qué alabar a Dios?
M – ¿Hay un mandamiento para obedecer?
E – ¿Hay algún error a evitar?
V – ¿Hay una verdad que creer?
E – ¿Hay algún ejemplo a seguir?
S – ¿Hay una súplica para orar?

Escribe las respuestas que encuentres en los versos del 5 al 8 de este capítulo.

Genesis 6: Touching the emotions of God.

Today we are going to learn that God has emotions and we must live with integrity to please Him.
Don't forget to read the whole chapter.

Genesis 6:5-14 NLT:
The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. So the Lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. And the Lord said, “I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth. Yes, and I will destroy every living thing—all the people, the large animals, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and even the birds of the sky. I am sorry I ever made them.” But Noah found favor with the Lord.
This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. Noah was the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. So God said to Noah, “I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!
“Build a large boat from cypress wood and waterproof it with tar, inside and out. Then construct decks and stalls throughout its interior.


This chapter is a continuation of yesterday's devotional. Yesterday we learned about Noah's offspring, and today we will learn how God called them with a special mission to build an ark to save his family and living beings from the doom that would come to the whole world.
The reason for the doom was because the human being was corrupted. Corrupt means the deterioration of values, uses or customs.
On this occasion, the descendants of Seth and Enoch, who were supposed to have followed in the footsteps of their ancestors, preferred to follow in the footsteps of Cain and his descendants. They were inclined to do evil.
What strikes me is that these behaviors hurt the Lord. The course that humanity took in abandoning their moral and spiritual principles caused God's emotions to be affected. I am impressed to note that God expresses His feelings. Frustration, anger, pain, sadness and regret.
This is what I want us to focus on today. Let's think that every action we do touches the emotions of God. Is the Lord happy or sad for us? Does he get angry or feel peace? Does He feel proud or disappointed in our actions?
He was proud of Lot and even exhibited him as one of His best sons before Satan. David was one who continually touched the heart of God. Moses spoke with Him face to face like no other human being on the face of the earth. Mary found grace before the Lord and chose her as an instrument to conceive and bring our Savior into the world.
Many positively touched the emotions of God. Others betrayed Him, disappointed Him, saddened Him because they took the wrong path; they made Him angry and brought for them damnation and death. Others walked away from God's grace and lost God's blessing.
Depending on the decisions they made, those decisions favored or affected their families. Because of the righteous life that Noah lived, he brought salvation to his wife, sons and daughters-in-law. Contrary to Lot and Akan, who brought condemnation to their families.
Let's take good care of how we walk while we are alive, this will make our Creator and Savior very happy; and besides, it will rain down on your family a deluge of blessings.

Today let's use the technique called PROBE IT, where we can examine deep lessons in this chapter. Remember the series of questions that we must ask ourselves with the acronym:
S – Is there a sin to confess?
P – Is there a promise to claim?
A – Is there an attitude to change?
C – Is there a command to obey?
E – Is there an example to follow?
P – Is there a promise to claim?
E – Is there an example to follow?
T – Is there a truth to believe?
S – Is there something to praise God for?

Write the answers you find in verses 5 to 8 of this chapter.
