Episode LXXI (71): THAT CAPTAIN / SAILBOAT TOUR - Part II - We had so much fun last week with the talented touring singer/songwriter/story teller/recording artist, book author and competitive sailor Marc Borde during (and after) our show that he returns tonight (1/9/2020) for more craft beer-fueled conversation. Last week the show 'jibed' heavily towards sailing talk including where he got his passion for the water and background in sailing regatta competitions, the differences between to sailing scenes in Houston/Clear Lake/Galveston and San Fransisco (and elsewhere) swell as finishing and preparing an unfinished 50-foot, 55-year-old trimaran never to touch water for a complete circumnavigation of the planet, assuming it is round, and musical tour.  Tonight Marc returns, guitar in hand, for a deeper dive into his music career past, present, future. We might also discuss his years of touring in more detail including “Guitar Strings & Sailboat Things,” the one-of-a-kind album recorded on a 26-foot sailboat, 300-mile tour by boat (playing 33 shows in 38 days along the Gulf Coast) and special-edition book (CD included).
