Losing a child changes a lot of things. Jeff believes that the death of his son Devon, at the age of 22 while traveling abroad in 2009, has changed him in a way you might not expect - he says it has made him a better person.
Jeff shares his history with organized religion, but that his faith in something bigger didn't really start until he was grieving his son. Now his certainty that we are a small part of something larger, which has been cemented for him by the signs he, his wife and his daughter receive from Devon, has brought him clarity to what's important in life.
Jeff volunteers on the Board of Directors for Helping Parents Heal and he encourages any grieving fathers looking for support to reach out to Helping Fathers Heal
