In the world we live freedom of speech is a God given right. We have the right to speak truth.
We also have the right to speak recklessly and triggering.
Whatever the speech, there is a right to say it.
The problem that comes into play is the unwillingness to see speech and perspective from communities that we may not have all things in common with.
Social media has given us platforms to speak, but also building bridges to connect.
My friend Jay Jay is a bridge builder.
He uses his voice to navigate through difficult conversations to bring opposing views and voices to a place where gaps can be filled and bridges built, to come into a place of compromise.
It's in these spaces that healing can begin.
Jay Jay is much bigger than Clubhouse, so catch him while you can.
