Today’s episode is number 1 of my lockdown mini series – it’s called 'Berries, cheese and dreams' because there were so many blackberries still to be eaten when I wrote the original blog and because the folktale that really felt right for that week, started with a young woman picking blaeberries and went on to involve both cheese and dreams!
It’s coming to you live from the Somerset countryside and I’ll be walking while I’m talking! As well as sharing a little bit of folklore about berries and a beautiful Scottish folktale, keep an ear out for some tips on who to follow and look up if you want to learn more about the folklore, the stories, the wild food foraging and story-inspired outdoor activities that I chat about today!
